Scarlet stands as a beacon of resilience and transformation, guiding others through darkness towards light. Her journey is a profound testament to the human spirit's capacity to transcend adversity and alchemize pain power, and loss into love.
Scarlet's early life was marked by adversity when a vaccine injury at 18 months led to a serious physical disability, requiring years of physical therapy, multiple surgeries, and the emotional trials of growing up with her biggest vulnerability as the first thing many people notice about her. However, she found strength and solace through a deep connection with horses after getting started in a therapeutic riding program at the age of 3. She not only learned to ride, but to soar, her spirit syncing with the powerful beasts in a dance of healing and empowerment. Her passion propelled her from therapeutic riding to international competition, while her compassion led her to support sport horses in their own recovery from injury and illness.
At the tender age of 17, Scarlet lost her father after a 2-year battle with cancer and experienced compounding abandonment trauma due to the resulting family dynamics. The loss activated her spiritual dedication early on, connecting her to other realms as she navigated losing her father in physical form, and worked to process the intensity of the resulting family relations through inner work. She now shares the lessons as medicine to support others.
Scarlet's identity as queer further colored her tapestry with layers of depth and complexity. She embraced her truth with courage and grace and embarked on a path of advocacy for those with diverse life perspectives. Scarlet’s journey has taken her from equine sports medicine, to computer engineering, to people operations, diversity equity and inclusion work, and entrepreneurship.
Scarlet entered into a long and beautiful relationship, which, after marrying, dissolved and a vengeful divorced ensued, taking her to the depths of the underworld. Left with a choice: either succumb to the pain or take ownership and prioritize healing, the experience became the crucible from which emerged a sovereign, soulful Queen.
Her journey then took her into sacred sexuality which opened new vistas of connection and intimacy, helping her reclaim the possibility of eros within a body she once fought against, and transforming pain into pleasure and heartbreak into healing. Scarlet’s work with sacred medicines catalyzed profound rebirth and expanded consciousness that transmuted her wounds into wisdom and compassion.
She has delved deeply into the realms of spirituality through education programs, and immersed herself in diverse cultures and environments through travel, and lived experiences. She has had training in:
